Meet our Master of the Court

Cooper Fitness Center is excited to welcome Tennis Pro Steve Franklin.

If you were to ask Cooper Fitness Center, Dallas Tennis Pro, Steve Franklin, what role he’d play if he were in the circus, he would say Ring Master.  And that’s exactly what he’s doing when he steps onto a tennis court each day to teach a lesson.  Whether it’s organizing kids’ for drills during Tennis Camp or encouraging adults to focus on the basics, Steve is master of the court. Steve started as the Tennis Pro at Cooper Fitness Center in June.  And a pro he is. He has 20+ years directing tennis programs at The Village Tennis Center and Walnut Creek Country Club in Dallas and at the Grand Prairie Parks & Recreation Department.

This Fall he’s putting his experience into practice with a variety of tennis programs for all ages from Junior to Adults, beginners to advanced.

Along with the Youth Programming, you’ll find him teaching…

  • Ladies Drop-In Clinics
  • Adult Beginner Class
  • Adult Advanced Beginner Class
  • Aerobic Tennis
  • Adult Practice and Play

Steve has been voted “Tennis Professional of the Year” by Dallas Tennis AssociationDallas Professional Tennis Association and ClubCorp and we are thrilled to have him!
